Whitney Houston and Dana Bash

Whitney Elizabeth Houston, born 9 August 1963 to the musically inclined family of Newark New Jersey is the daughter of gospel star Cissy Houston and John Russell Houston Jr. She's also the cousin of singer Dionne Warwick. The singer began her singing career in the choir at her church The New Hope Baptist Church in Newark when she was a child and by the age of 15 was singing backing vocals professionally with their mother in Chaka Khans 1978 hit Im Every Woman. In 1981, she briefly did a stint as a fashion model, and was featured on the Seventeen album cover. Also, she provided the backing vocals for Lou Rawls and Jermaine. In 1981, she began working as a singer with New York's funk band Material. It was her quality vocal performance with this group that caught interest of recording companies such as Arista. The debut Whitney Houston album was released in the year 1985. It was one of the top-selling album by a musician. Her album featured several hits like How Will I Know You Give Good Love Saving All My Love For you and The Greatest Love of All. It was instrumental in her achieving seven US chart-topping songs in succession and was more than the Beatles. It was the initial US year, the album was has sold in excess of 3 million units. After that, it was to be purchased by millions of people around the world, earning her her first Grammy. Whitney was her first album. Whitney was released in 1987, and featuring the popular songs What Do Broken Hearts go? and I Wanna Dance With Somebody, built upon her previous success. It was The Bodyguard (1996) that made her the top selling album in music. Although the film and the performance of her on screen were not widely praised the soundtrack album and her cover to the Dolly Parton song I Will Always Love You topped the charts of albums and singles for a period of time and sold over 44 million copies around the world. The same year, she was married to Bobby Brown who was a former New Edition singer. She had their only daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown in the month of March, 1993. Around this time that her much documented substance abuse began. By 1996 she was a daily drug user.

Dana Bash also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz is an American anchorwoman for news and reporting and political correspondent for CNN. The anchor has also created some of the network's weekend programs such for instance Evans & Novak' Late Edition and Inside Politics.' She also worked with other well-known channels, such as NBC and CBS. Bash was awarded a Women in Washington Power List award from Elle magazine. A lot of young journalists praise Bash for her incredible reporting and anchoring skills. Her only child is the pride of her life. She's been married twice. Her current relationship is not formal.
